One the most cost effective ways to purchase photos for editorial  (ie- magazine articles) or commercial use is to buy NON-EXCLUSIVE, ONE-TIME rights to my photos.  The fees for usage depend largely on the extent to which an image will be distributed, whether it is for editorial or commercial purposes, and the size of the image.  Upon request for an image, a license is written up describing the intended and allowed usage.  When requesting an image, please provide as much information about the intended usage as possible.  For example...

• Distribution size and range (ie- local neighborhood or global)
• Size of image (ie- 1/2 page magazine ad or large billboard?)
• Name of publication or corporation
• Length of time image will be in circulation (ie- monthly magazine, exclusive 1 year rights,...)

Fees can vary considerably based on these variables and I am happy to work with publications and advertising agencies, including negotiating reduced fees for large quantity orders.  The price quotes you receive are based on publicly available 'going rates' and considering the high quality of our images, my clients have always been very happy with the value of thier purchase!

All of the images on this site are provided as high resolution digital files (either RAW format, or .TIF or .JPG upon request).  Recently, I have been building a catolog of 16 megapixel images which are not viewable to the general public.  If you are a publication or company or agency interested in my work, please feel free to request access to the type of images you need.  Though this catalog is extensive, many other images are available and can be provided for a small 'research' fee.  Upon review of our images, sample crops of the high resolution images may be provided to those who need confirmation of the quality of my work.
